We had excellent food when we were in San Francisco this time around. Pupusas, avocados, panna cotta . . . it was all great.
Except for when we took a trip over to Sausalito. We had a terrible experience at Horizons Restaurant. If you're going somewhere for only the food and the ginger ale and don't care if you ever get a second ginger ale, then this is the place for you.
We were talking about this particular terror while we waited for our checks to be picked up at the Anchor.
"That was the worst restaurant experience, ever!" Raw declared. Unfortunately, she declared this quite loudly right when the guy was picking up our checks.
"Not here! You guys have been great!"
I'm not the only one who's good at jamming my foot in my mouth!
