Since I'm so incredibly terrible about posting, I'm giving myself a theme. I'm going to write about things I'm currently digging.
Number one is this video. I have no idea why it took me so long to see it! Apparently, it was everywhere!
I didn't see it until I found out about this website.
You see, the guy who sings the song is a confessed domestic abuser. When their video came out, downloads--i.e. sales--of the song skyrocketed. Turns out the couple isn't really that excited about stuffing a violent guy's pockets with money.
Their website thanks everyone for sharing a smile with them, but are also trying to balance the karma by pointing people toward a donation site to help support violence prevention.
